A student enrolled at Texas A&M may regularly attend class as a visitor only after securing permission from the instructor and
the head of the department in which the course is offered. This authorization carries only the privilege of listening and observing.
Courses in which a student is a visitor will not be considered in determining a student's credit hour load. A person attending a class
or doing the work of a course for which he or she has not registered in advance shall not receive credit for the course. Senior
citizens, 65 or older, may audit courses with the permission of the instructor, if space is available in the assigned classroom. It is
not necessary for senior citizens to be admitted to the University, and academic records of their attendance will not be maintained.
