Each new program of study proposal must go through an approval process before it can be offered and listed in the catalog. If a program needs to be modified or discontinued, proposals should be made and go though a similar process. These proposals are reviewed and approved during the calendar year through the Curricular Approval Request System (CARS). Program proposals submitted and approved by the curricular deadlines are effective for the following academic year.
