Welcome to Aggieland from the Office of the Registrar! From your first day of class to your walk across the graduation stage, the Office of the Registrar follows you through your time at Texas A&M. The purpose of the Office of the Registrar is to serve all students—prospective, current, and former.
Mission Statement
The Office of the Registrar maintains the integrity of student academic records. This includes allowing appropriate and lawful access to those records and providing related services to students, former students, and other members of the University and external community in a manner that promotes stewardship and accountability and creates positive visibility for Texas A&M University. The Office of the Registrar is comprised of a diverse group of individuals who work together to provide support for the university and its mission of teaching, research, and service.Services Include
The Office of the Registrar is a service-oriented organization assisting the Texas A&M University community. Some of our primary responsibilities include:- Creating the Academic Calendar
- Production of the Texas A&M University catalogs
- Processing all grades and grade changes
- Processing requests for official Texas A&M University transcripts
- Organizing commencement activities
- Maintaining classroom inventory
- Coordinating the registration calendar
- Maintaining inventory of approved Texas A&M programs and courses
- Archiving student records and maintaining their integrity and security
