The Academic Services Team assists the university community in understanding rules and regulations related to state policies, student academic records, grading, transcripts, and degree audits, while ensuring compliance with all state, federal, NCAA, and university rules and guidelines related to academic records. This team also conducts graduation clearance and oversees commencement ceremony production each semester. Training is available on processes and procedures for the campus community.

Athletic Certification

The Office of the Registrar Athletic Certification team is responsible for the initial and continuing eligibility certification of student athletes attending Texas A&M University.

Degree Audit

The Degree Audit team is responsible for overseeing the undergraduate degree planner, double major and double degree requests, certificate tracking, the University Adjustment System (UAS), degree requirement verification, graduation clearance, student graduation attendance, and more.

Grading

The Office of the Registrar oversees and maintains the grading process for Texas A&M University and its schools and colleges.

Records Administration & Archives

The Records Administration & Archives team is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and archival of student academic records, producing official transcripts, and compliance of federal and state guidelines, university and system policies related to student records.

State Policies

The State Policies Team assists students, parents, and the campus community in understanding state statutes as they apply to residency for tuition purposes (in-state tuition), the $1,000 Tuition Rebate for certain undergraduate students, and Excess Credit Hours.
