Howdy!

Undergraduate Degree Planner (UGDP) templates for the 2025 catalog terms are now available for updates in Compass. These templates can be accessed through SWATMPL. Please complete all updates no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, May 2, 2025. After this deadline, the 2025 templates will be checked through a validation process so they can be activated.

Our office recommends that all programs continue to maintain active degree planner templates, even for colleges/departments that have opted out of the annual degree planner submission requirement. All undergraduate students still have access to the UGDP tool.

In order to be activated, a template can only include courses that will automatically pick up in a degree evaluation based on the program requirements that were submitted for the 2025-2026 catalog term. The comment field should be used in cases where a student has the option to select from multiple courses to complete a requirement.

Our office will reach out to any department where a template does not clear the initial validation process so corrections can be made before it is activated.
