The end of the semester is near, and your commencement ceremony is approaching soon! The full Fall 2024 commencement ceremony schedule can be viewed on the Aggie One Stop website. Guest tickets will not be required for Fall 2024 commencement.

A Graduation Checklist is also available online to help provide you with additional instruction and reminders.

Ceremony Information:

  • On the day of your ceremony, report to the student check-in area at Reed Arena. If you have not checked in at least 30 minutes prior to the start of your ceremony, you will be marked absent and your name will not be announced during the ceremony.
  • Disability Accommodations: Degree candidates with mobility or other disability-related needs who may require accommodations in order to participate in the ceremony should contact Laura Zeig at 979-845-1059 or graduation@tamu.edu no later than Friday, December 6, 2024.
  • As a courtesy to your fellow graduates, please be prepared to remain for the entire ceremony. The ceremony is expected to last approximately three hours.
  • Guest seating in the arena will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional information regarding accessible seating and parking for guests can be found on the Parking & Special Accommodations page of our website.
  • If you have not had an opportunity to purchase regalia yet, packages can be ordered online through the Barnes & Noble Bookstore

Graduation Clearance and Diploma Information:
  • A final degree audit for all Fall 2024 degree candidates will be conducted on Thursday, December 12, 2024. If you clear all degree requirements at that time, your diploma will be ordered, and you can expect it to ship by January 13, 2025.
  • If you do not clear the initial audit, all unmet degree requirements must be resolved by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2025, to have your degree awarded for Fall 2024. Students who clear after the initial audit can expect their diploma to ship by the dates listed on the Diploma Information webpage.
  • Diplomas will be mailed to the address included in your graduation application, upon verification of completion of all degree requirements. If you need to make any changes to the diploma mailing address on file, please email updates to degree-audit@tamu.edu as this address cannot be updated in Howdy. Please submit any changes via email no later than 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2024. You can view your current diploma mailing address by going to the MyRecord tab in Howdy, selecting Graduation Application and Status Check and double click on "Degree Candidate" in the "Application Status" column. If you have more than one active graduation application, select the line that corresponds to the application you would like to view.
  • Additional information on diploma information and mailing can be found on our website.

Answers to most questions about graduation can be found in the Graduation FAQ. Other questions regarding commencement ceremonies should be directed to the Office of the Registrar, 979-845-1059 or to graduation@tamu.edu.
