Registration is now available for our March - May training courses. Enrollment is open to all employees and is accessible via TrainTraq. Click on the link for each course listed below to go to the “Course Details” page, then select the “Upcoming Sections” tab to see a list of the available dates/times, and register to take a course.

  • Degree Evaluation Essentials  – This training covers interpreting degree evaluations.
  • Double Major Requests – This training provides an in-depth review of creating and reviewing Double Majors.
  • FERPA: Implications for Faculty and Staff - This training provides guidance on the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as Amended (FERPA) and its practical implications for faculty, staff, and academic advisors. In addition to a refresher on key definitions and provisions under FERPA, participants will explore and discuss the application of FERPA to practical scenarios.
  • Graduation Clearance – This training covers the various student rules, reports, deadlines, and processes associated with graduation clearance.
  • University Adjustment System (UAS) Essentials – This training covers the various request types in the University Adjustment System (UAS).

The in-person sections are held at our office at the General Services Complex (GSC) in either Room 1519 or Room 1521 (location is course specific and will appear in your registration confirmation).  Links to course sections offered in a virtual format will appear in your registration confirmation.

We welcome new and seasoned advisors to attend these sessions and to provide feedback and perspective on the usefulness of the training. If you are not located in College Station, please reach out to regiTRAINERS@tamu.edu about setting up sessions to accommodate your team. This option is open for all courses listed.
