Howdy!
The Office of the Registrar is excited to announce Phase 2 of the Course Level Change (CLC) workflow process is live in Howdy! Phase 2 will replace the Petition for Undergraduate Student to Enroll in Graduate Courses or Reserve Undergraduate Courses for Graduate Credit.
This workflow will allow advisors to submit an online request to reserve courses taken by an undergraduate student for graduate credit and certificate seeking students to have multiple levels added to a course to satisfy certificate requirements. We strongly encourage advisors to start using the online request system; however, Degree Audit will still accept these paper forms through July 31, 2024. Instructions for CLC workflow process can be found on our website.
All advisors currently have access to initiate CLC requests for students in their department. Advisors who will be approving or denying these submissions as departmental reviewers must request the G_REGI_CLC_ADVISOR security group through their respective Primary Authorizing Agent (PAA). Auto-approval will be granted for requests submitted by individuals authorized as departmental reviewers.
This CLC process will not be available once a student’s undergraduate degree has been awarded. Please ensure requests for degree candidates are submitted prior to the degree candidate grading deadline posted on the academic calendar.
We anticipate Phase 3 to be available in Fall 2024. This phase will include the ability for a registration request to route through instructors and department heads for courses with level restrictions. More information will be provided as we get closer to Phase 3 go-live date.
