Per Student Rule 14.2, all Spring 2024 undergraduate degree candidates must be enrolled in or have completed all degree requirements by 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2024. To avoid cancellation, degree candidates must have all unmet requirements on their degree evaluation accounted for by this deadline.

Information regarding the various clearance reports, deadlines, and any possible action advisors may need to take on behalf of their students can be found on the Advising Resources for Graduation Clearance page.

  • All undergraduate degree candidates must be meeting or enrolled in all degree requirements based on the undergraduate degree cancellation criteria.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Late minimester courses taken at Texas A&M or another institution are NOT acceptable for Spring 2024 degree clearance.
    • Any courses being used for Spring 2024 degree clearance must start no later than April 16, 2024. Additionally, all Texas A&M late minimester courses are coded as Summer 2024 courses.
  • If any University Adjustment System (UAS) requests are needed to clear a student, please submit those immediately so they can be reviewed and processed.
  • If a Spring 2024 degree candidate Q-Drops a course, they MUST have something that can take its place to clear the unmet requirement. If they are not able to clear based on the Q-Drop, the student’s application will be cancelled and they will need to reapply for graduation in a future term.
    • If you do Q-Drop a course for a Spring 2024 degree candidate and plan to submit an adjustment to backfill that requirement, please submit that as soon as the Q-Drop is submitted and notify Degree Audit.

Degree Audit will cancel students that are not clearing in accordance with Student Rule 14.2 on the morning of Wednesday, April 17, 2023.
