Howdy!
The graduation application for degrees set to be awarded in the Summer 2025 term is now open. All students planning to graduate with a degree(s) in Summer 2025 must apply for graduation through the Graduation Application and Status Check in Howdy by July 11, 2025. A diploma fee of $47.50 is assessed for each graduation application submitted by students in all colleges EXCEPT, the College of Dentistry, College of Medicine, College of Nursing, Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy, and School of Public Health, which are assessed a $100 graduation fee. Applications submitted after July 11, 2025, will be assessed a $50 late fee in addition to the diploma fee for a total of $97.50. These fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
NOTE: If you are not planning to graduate with your degree(s) in Summer 2025, you may disregard this email. Please be sure to follow all graduation application deadlines stated in the Academic Calendar, once you are in your final semester.
The online application deadline for degree programs is 11:59 p.m., July 11, 2025. This applies to all students who will complete requirements for their degree program(s) in the Summer 2025 term. All applications submitted after July 11, 2025, must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar, Degree Audit using a paper graduation application. Graduation applications for degree programs will not be accepted after 5:00 p.m., August 5, 2025. If you miss this deadline, you must apply for graduation for any degree programs in the Fall 2025 term.
Undergraduate Students:
- Per Student Rule 14.2, undergraduate degree candidates must be enrolled in or have completed all degree requirements by 5:00 p.m., July 23, 2025, either in residence at Texas A&M University or at another college or university.
- Degree Requirement Verification (DRV) for any courses you are enrolled in outside of Texas A&M University must be provided to the Degree Audit Office by 5:00 p.m., July 23, 2025.
- DRV can only be submitted for In-Progress coursework. Any transfer courses that have been completed must be officially transferred into Texas A&M University via an official transcript by 5:00 p.m., July 23, 2025.
- Failure to submit all necessary documentation will result in your graduation application for your degree program(s) being cancelled and will make you ineligible to participate in Summer 2025 commencement.

Graduate and Professional Students:
- Graduate Students: If you are a graduate student and are unable to apply for graduation online for a Master's or Doctoral degree program, please contact the Graduate and Professional School at 979-845-3631 or grad@tamu.edu.
